Product Reviews:

Great, Lightweight Basketball Shoe, March 3, 2011
    Lance
"Hyperfuse is extremely lightweight, but not quite as low as the Hyperdunk. However, the Hyperfuse's mesh upper is very BREATHE-ABLE! After a very sweaty workout, these shoes dry extremely fast. Shoes have great surface grip and ankle support is both firm and secure. The sizing DOES run about a half-size SMALL, as mentioned in another review."
Flexible, yet stable!, March 3, 2011

"These shoes remind me of the classic Nikes I loved from the 80s. (Yes, I'm that old!) I want a running shoe that has good heel support, can cradle my high arch, be roomy in the forefoot, cushiony, but not squishy, AND be flexible and lightweight. I have found it in the latest Pegasus trail shoe. I run on the backroads of Vermont, as well as the trails, and have found these shoes to do fine with the transition. A plus is the color: silver gray with a splash of hot pink! How fun!"
I really wanted tp love it, November 25, 2010

"I own several other Keen shoes, slippers, casual shoes, etc. Keens have always fit me well and they are well built and stylish. I wanted to add another pair that I could wear to work and that would be weatherproof now that winter has come. I ordered these Newport Trails and was excited to try them on. They looked sharp, well built, and I liked both the styling and color. However I noticed they were a little stiff at first and on the heavy side. I thought I just needed to break them in. But after an hour, these shoes were just too uncomfortable. They did not breathe well and I actually felt relief after I took them off. I tried wearing them another day with the same results. Finally I had to return them to my local REI [...]"

"I bought this shoe for my distance running for cross country and noticed that these shoes didn't offer a lot of things I was hoping for. One, was that this shoe gave no support to my legs causing pain and dull aching. Two, these shoes are totally flat which starts to make pain in your arch. Lastly, they are very wide which makes you have to tighten them a lot! I just bought a pair of Asics yesterday and I can say that I love them so much and cant get another brand."

"Running is a part of my job, I have to run between 3 and 5 miles every other day, I have been doing this for 15 years. When it was time to buy another pair of shoes I decided on the Nike Air Pegasus. I bought this shoe because it was the number one rated running shoe by runner's world in 2009. When I first tried my new shoes out they seemed to be great. The first week I ran 2-3 miles a day for five days. On the second week I did not run at all, because I noticed pain in my knees, hips, and lower back which are typically caused from running. On the third week I tried running in the shoe again and had the same results with an additional pain which was located in the arch of my foot. This is strange to me since I wear arch supports and have never had this problem with any other running shoe I have owned. This shoe is great for holding your arch support in place and next to your foot but I don't think it has enough cushioning for road running or tread machines. I am very disappointed in this shoe and currently looking for another shoe that is better. I might recommend this shoe to someone who doesn't have foot problems, and has a smaller build."
     Love it, March 23, 2011

"These are the most confortable pair of shoes I have ever owned. They have great toe room and do not rub. My feet are very picky shoppers and they love them. I am even considering them in another color."
Great shoe the user needs to get used to, March 28, 2011
    Warren
"A great shoe; I love how lightweight it is, how it still lets my foot move through a step and how it seems to fit well. Didn't need much, if any, time to break in and no pressure points. I usually wear a size 10 running shoe and a 9.5 street shoe; this one was true to my norm. I've only done a four mile run on blacktop so far, but the shoe did well. I hit some snow and ice, upon which the shoe seemed great on the snow and hard slush but slid a little on the sheer ice. I prefer more near-minimalist shoes but these will be good for trails and winter blacktop jogs."
Great Fit; Great Price!, April 6, 2011
    Edmund
"My goal for the new year is to start the "Couch to 5K" program and I needed a good, sturdy shoe. I wanted something lightweight with support for a flatter foot, especially since I roll my right foot inward when I walk/run. I also wanted a shoe that had a lower backing because of my short tendent/ankle.
BEST RUNNING SHOE EVER!, April 6, 2011
    Perry
"Love love LOVE this shoe! I was always told that to go running, any shoe will do. As someone that has always used cheap running shoes, I can honestly say that old adage is not true. I knew I would be running my first 5K soon so I thought I would purchase my first pair of "real" running shoes. The best thing about these shoes is the shock absorption. I used to always have pain in my knees after running and I had just assumed that I would always have that problem. Now I don't have ANY knee pain after running! They're also extremely lightweight and I feel that my arches are wonderfully supported as well. It doesn't hurt that the shoes are super cute unlike a lot of the other running shoes out there. They're AMAZING!!!"
