"These boots were very comfortable from the initial fitting. I am a physical therapist and deal a lot with patients with foot problems. I like these boots however, if you need a stiff boot with a stiff midsole then these are not the boots for you. They are durable and great for hiking and I really liked wearing them for very cold, snowy winter walks and really like them for trail hiking in the summer, even when it is raining."

"I purchased these shoes last year specifically to wear on a 3 week solo backpacking trip around the Middle East. I was traveling in December so needed shoes that would be warm but also comfortable. I have a history of plantar fascitis and was a little worried about it flaring up on my trip. Fortunately, I didn't need to worry. Except for a pair of flip-flops for the shower, these were the only shoes I wore for 3 weeks straight and my feet didn't hurt once. I purchased them in brown which stood up great to the desert dirt and sand. These shoes have been inside pyramids, on camels, on horses, hiking through the ancient city of Petra, and all over downtown Cairo. I even climbed Mt. Sinai, an elevation of 7,500ft, in them. When I got home I rinsed them off, wiped them down, and they're good to go again. I would recommend these shoes to anyone with foot problems who needs a comfortable shoe but doesn't want to sacrifice style."

"The shoes are a very nice fit, and I'd say they fit true to size. The leather patches on the inside of the toe box keep your foot from poking through the top like on full mesh tops, so that is a nice feature. Additionally, the mesh side panels do a good job of dissipating heat to keep your feet cool. The soles are grippy and flat, and the sole itself is a little under an inch at its thickest. It's a fairly low cut shoe, but otherwise fits very well. The shoe in white is a very nice looking shoe. Do be aware that the shoe in general (on the inside) in somewhat thin, so if you have wide feet, perhaps order it in the wide size if it's available or look into other shoes. The toe box also runs a tad bit thin."

"i use this every day they lasted me a long time until i grew out of them and i still wear them when i am going camping cause they are dirty and are good for that type of stuff if you didnt just get them"
