"I own several other Keen shoes, slippers, casual shoes, etc. Keens have always fit me well and they are well built and stylish. I wanted to add another pair that I could wear to work and that would be weatherproof now that winter has come. I ordered these Newport Trails and was excited to try them on. "Love love LOVE this shoe! I was always told that to go running, any shoe will do. As someone that has always used cheap running shoes, I can honestly say that old adage is not true. I knew I would be running my first 5K soon so I thought I would purchase my first pair of "real" running shoes. The best thing about these shoes is the shock absorption. I used to always have pain in my knees after running and I had just assumed that I would always have that problem. Now I don't have ANY knee pain after running! I got this item for my son for Christmas and I was so pleased that I received it prior to Christmas. I was also pleased with the packaging of the item, and I will definitely order from them again!
