The Air Jordan 11 (XI) Retro - Black / Varsity Red - White were released on December 15, 2001, and retailed for $125. They are the same as the original versions, with no visible changes. They are simply beautiful shoes, as they feature an all black upper, which features a black patent leather at the base, along with a red Jumpman logo at the ankle, and a carbon fiber "23" at the back heel.The white midsole and red, translucent outsole are both really nice touches that seem to grab your attention.Besides having the looks down pact, some of the features of the shoe include a carbon fiber spring plate, ballistic nylon uppers, a Huarache inner sleeve, quick lace system, carbon fiber sheath and air sole. The only knock on the shoe is that they were not comfortable around the arch and midsole area.

"I use my shoes 3-4 times a week on a treadmill or track for workouts and often on the weekend when I know I'm going to put miles on. This shoe has been very durable. Usually I feel like I have to replace a running shoe within 6 months or so but not this pair. I had noticed that my feet were turning out a little recently so I bought an insole that helps to correct the supination. It worked beautifully and I've gotten a few more months out of the shoe. Highly recommend it for the 10-20 mile per week athlete."

"I've been running in Pegasus since the 1980's. Though the shoe has changed with modern technology to become much lighter and more flexible, it has continued to be a durable lightweight high milage trainer. They last about 300-400 miles which means that I get a new pair every 5-6 weeks. RRS always has great prices on last year's model [...]"
