The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Original (OG) - Playoffs (Black / Varsity Red - White - Metallic Silver) were released in 1997, and retailed for $140. They feature an black and white upper, along with small details which make the shoe so popular, including the red Jumpman logo on the tongue, the white "TWO 3", and the small "Jumpman" printed along the side panel in sliver.The top two lacing eyelets are metal, and even feature a small Jumpman logo on them. Its the little things that make a difference, and sell the shoe. The Air Jordan 12 (XII) also has some history behind it, as it was by the Nisshoki which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century women's dress boot. It features stitched leather which radiates outward like sun rays, and this theme extends all the way to the arch of the shoe. The outsole features a modified herringbone pattern, which provides great traction, and the shoe uses Nikes Zoom Air technology.

"This is the best workout shoe I have ever owned. I have tried all brands, including every type of Nike. This shoe fits well, absorbs shocks from high impact aerobics and Zumba, and wears well. I usually go through shoes every three months but these hold up longer and then can be used for walking or wearing everyday. This is my shoe and I have recommended these shoes to all my work-out girl friends. It also comes in wide for heavy socks I use during winter workouts. It's pricey but well worth the dollars. It's my shoe for life!"

"I have NEVER been disappointed with any shoes that I have purchased...Skechers have always been a favorite of mine as they fit,and they are light. I work as a nurse and there is NOT a more comfortable shoe to be found. As a matter of fact, the shoes that are sold as ""nurses"" shoes are incredibly uncomfortable. Not to mention that I do a lot of walking and I have never had sore feet and/or blisters when I've got my Skecher's. So, for myself, they are the best, both in price and compatibility.

"I had forces ever since i was a lil kid and i still like them. they still look fresh and classy, but the price rises every year ill tell you that right now.
if your wear blue jeans, watch out for the blue stains, and i recommend buying something that helps stops creasing at the store, makes the shoe last longer.
also, avoid wearing them in rain and walking in them in grass/dirt, its makes the shoe yellow and look old."

"This Nike shoe is really, really good for skateboarding in. The shoe is really durable for kickflips, heelflips, and any trick I'm sure that you could think of. The grip on the bottom of the shoe is really durable, too. It only shows wear, a little bit, but you have to look really closely to actually see the wear in it because it's so small. Overall, in my opinion, it's awesome."
