The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Original (OG) - Playoffs (Black / Varsity Red) were released in 1997, and retailed for $135. They feature a black and red color scheme, which are official colors of the Chicago Bulls. The arch features two large rands, which run along the midsole, and feature embossed lizard skin, similar to the Air Jordan 2 (II). The purpose of these rands is to provides some sort of structural support to the uppers. The outsole of the shoe features a modified herringbone pattern, which provides great traction and grip. They also feature Nikes patented Zoom Air technology, providing added cushioning, and were the first Air Jordans to do so.

"I have worn Merrell sandals for years and now have my second pair of trail walking shoes. The special Q-form construction for women must be the difference because I have so many problems finding comfy shoes and these really work for me. The toebox is just right for comfort without the shoe seeming too big and wide which can be a trip hazard in sport shoes. I did need to go up a half size in this shoe. I live in Hawaii and it is water resistant and easy to keep looking good, better than white tennies, and has great traction for all types of weather."

"Air Force 1's are one of the best shoes I'll ever buy, but there's a couple of things you have to know. Air forces are the eaisiest to crease so you'll need force fields, which are a little uncomfortable, but worth it. all white all air forces are one of the hottest looks, but their are the easiest to look old and get dirty, don't step in dirt or grass, or wear in the winter. Sometimes in shipping the shoes sometimes come already creased so be aware. Other than that wear clean socks and your shoes will stay hot as you bought them."

I ordered this shoe in a D (wide) width, it is true to fit, wide in the toe box, can be adjusted for my swelling in one foot, and is so comfortable.
