"I have a very short but wide foot. These shoes fit perfectly in my arch as my toes are short but I need a very wide toe box. I have three pairs at all times as they are the most comfortable shoes that I can find. Most shoes make my toes feel squished and then I end up with a callous between my two last toes on each foot. As I wear a new pair for workouts they then become my work shoes ( I am a nurse and on my legs on a cement floor every day) then in the end they become my outdoor shoes at the lake. I also run on gravel roads at the lake and have never experienced a lateral roll fron the uneven surface. I am delighted with the model. I am not delighted that they change the model number along with very few updates. I fully support they breast cancer campaign and the pick ribbon makes my shoe more femimine. I have no complaints and at this time I own two brand new pairs with an on sale pair in the box in my closet just waiting to be opened. I have never experienced trouble with shopping with Online shoes.com and will continue to shop with them as long as they continue to carry this brand and model. Also I work with podiatrists who often recommend New Balance to their patients with foot problems. Who wouldn't take the advice of a doctor??"

"Great aggressive lug design that gives excellent traction in the muddiest conditions. Light weight and low profile midsole allows for a more adaptive foot strike and solid toe off. Upper design is weatherproof noting excellent tongue flap and mud guard where the midsole meets the upper. Toe box is a bit wide for me and shoe seems to fit a 1/2 size larger than other La Sportiva models. Overall a great training/racing shoe for dry-muddy conditions."
