The Air Jordan 12 (XII) Retro - White / French Blue - Metallic Silver - Varsity Red was released on January 10, 2005, and retailed for $135.They are one of the more under-rated shoes in the Air Jordan 12 (XII) line-up. They feature a white leather upper with a french blue colorway at the base of the upper, as well as on the sole. They also feature french blue and red accents. The shoe itself features stitching designs along the upper which are inspired by the Nisshoki which is the Japanese rising sun flag, as well as a 19th century women's dress boot. The stitchings radiate outward like the rays of the sun, making these a thoughtfully designed pair of shoes. The shoe also features a carbon fiber sheath and Air sole, along with a modified herringbone pattern on the outsole, which is great for traction.

"This shoe is great first of all, saw it in the nike store and i was like woow i gotta cop a pair of these. I wear em for casual since i got 3 other pairs of nike and adidas for ballin' anyway this shoe is great, comfortable, good looking but it needs some time to break in. Make sure you get your true size since it fits perfectly."

"I work as a dog walker and have plantar fasciitis. I have worn these shoes for 5 years. This new upgrade to them is a shame. First off, they run smaller. They are made less sturdy since there is less leather and more mesh than the previous pair. Also, the hooks holding the laces are just cotton rather than the sturdy hooks on previous shoes. Upon the return of these, I will have to search for the older version."

"I recently purchased another pair of these Skecher's shoes, they are very comfortable. I have flat feet, and a heel spur, which makes finding shoes a nightmare! With this shoe, I am able to use my orthotic inserts, and the sole of the shoe cushions my foot as I walk, which helps take the pain off of my heel. I am very happy with these shoes!!"
