The Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Retro Low - Black / Metallic Silver - White - Varsity Maize were released on May 21, 2005, and retailed for $130 along with the Air Jordan 13 (XIII) Retro Low - White / Metallic Silver - Black - Varsity Maize, which feature an inverted colorway. These feature a combination black leather and kevlar mesh upper, which lays over a 3M reflective material, which lights up when hit by light, drawing lots of attention to these shoes. Their specifications include a hidden quick lace system, carbon fibre sheath, and Zoom Air insoles. The outsole features modified herringbone patterns, which provide great traction on the hardwood. Unfortunately however, they do not feature the green hologram at the heel, which is adored by Jordan fanatics, and is one of the most like features of the shoe.

"I tend to wear my shoes out, I find a shoe I like and wear it every day until recently (I'm getting older at 56) I noticed that the bottoms of my feet were starting to really hurt (micro-tears) especially in the morning. I went to a foot Dr. and he suggested a better shoe, and specifically suggested the Brooks Addiction...and I am sure glad he did!I really love the shoe - not only is it comfortable, but it looks great for work and with a pair of jeans.This was the first time I ever bought shoes on-line,[...] I will never walk into another shoe store again!"
