The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original (OG) - Black / Black - White - Indiglo was released on June 12, 1999, and retailed for $150. They feature a black upper constructed from a combination of leather and durabuck, as well as an all white sole, which contrast from the upper, drawing plenty of attention to the shoe. The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) has some interesting history behind it, as it was inspired b the Ferrari F355F1, the first production Ferrari to be fitted with an F1 paddle shift semi automatic transmission. these inspirations can be observed in the shield- shaped Jumpman badge, the Rossa Corsa? shank plate and midsole air vent. They are also the lightest Air Jordans to date. Their other specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system. They also have great traction due to the excellent herringbone pattern on the outsole.

"Lightweight. These are nice looking shoes: despite what they look like out of the box (sort of pigeon-toed), they actually look good on your feet. I got them in black, and I'm pleased with the look. They are also incredibly light. But I'm returning them because the arch support is too much for me. I think I do best in shoes with little or no support in the arches. For those who like having such support, this is the best I've worn in a long time; it hits me right for my size 8.5, and it's got a gentle upward and downward curve, so there are no edges or ridges."

"I wear nothing but lace up walking shoes: these fit great with my custom orthotics. Shoes feel good even after several hours of walking, standing, and/or working. The uper is not leather but it is breathable: Shoes don't make my feet feel hot amd clammy like many vinyl/plasticized materials. Definitely worth the money. Wish they came in more colors."

"DICKS is stepping their game up by bringing us these classic Jordan releases. The Air Jordan XII is an iconic shoe, 2009 was the year of the XII. Despite all the colorways that dropped, the white/red colorway is great because of the contrast, these turn heads. They are mad comfy and lightweight. Flu Games were cool too, nubucks were aight."
