The Air Jordan 14 (XIV) Original (OG) Low - Light Ginger / Black - White info were released on September 15, 1999, and retailed for $130. They feature yellow and white upper constructed from durabuck, and white on the toe area. The sleek design of the shoe stems from the fact that they are modeled after one of Michael Jordans Ferraris, the F355F1 to be exact. They feature support wraps, which on this particular colorway happen to be white, which help to give the shoe an even sleeker look, but the only knock on them is that they tend to detach over time, and with repetitive use. They are nice as they are not a team colorway release, and feature a bright, vibrant color scheme, making them a definite head turner. The outsole of the shoe features a well designed herringbone pattern, which is great for providing a good amount of traction, making these a really nice pair of shoes to play basketball in. Other technical specifications include low profile Zoom Air units, a carbon fibre sheath, medial air vents, a phylon midsole, and a quick lace system.

"Once again...another great pair of Merrell shoes! Very comfortable and minimal breaking-in required. I wear them for everything from hiking trails to walking around the city. Plus they look a bit nicer to wear around than just traditional gym shoes. The only con is they get a bit hot in really warm weather and aren't the best in rain."

"I'm the shoe purchaser in my family. A shoe fiend. Saw theses shoes and thought my wife should have a pair. I love Nikes. Always have. Always will. My wife on the other hand could care less. I get her shoes every Xmas (you are supposed to buy others what you want right?) and the look appealed of these appealed to her too. Then when she yelled from the other room while trying them on that I had done a good job. She too said they were more comfortable than any slipper/house shoe she'd ever put her foot in. I ended up at Altrec after exhausting my search everywhere else (even Nike was sold out of her size). "I haven't worn a shoe this comfortable since the Vomero 2. I supinate slightly and have very high arches and narrow heels (but normal forefoot width). I have a terrible time finding shoes that do not aggravate my plantar faciitis or my knees and these do neither. They fit nice and snug through the arch and they are freakishly lightweight. I just hope Nike doesn't go and change them next year!"

"I have been wearing Nikes for almost 20 years and I've chosen the Pegasus brand many times. I don't think I have a particularly wide foot, but I like roominess in the toe box and Pegasus come in wide. It's also relatively affordable among the Nike brand. These fit pretty true to size unlike some of the other Nike brands that I've had to return."
