The Air Jordan 15 (XV) Original (OG) - Black / Varsity Red were released on December 11, 1999, retailing for $150. They feature a black full grain leather upper, as well as beautifully woven mesh materials. The inspirations behind these come from the ultra fast X-15 Fighter Plane. Others believe that they are cheap Prada knockoffs, as they feature the red strip running vertically down the heel counter. Many refer to the as the ugliest Air Jordans to date, and theyre right. Tinker Hatfield, the head designer behind these, deserves no pat on the back for these.The shoe was designed poorly, as the loose fit around the midsole could allow for a turned ankle on any quick cut or turn. Other specifications include a hidden lace system, seemless dynamic fit sleeve and Zoom Air insoles. They also feature an injected TPR external heel counter for additional support. The outsole is constructed from two pieces with extended wraps, as well as rubber herringbone pods for increased traction.

"I have been doing warehouse work for twenty years and have finally found a shoe that doesn't wear out in six months! I need to be outdoors for much of the day as well in all weather conditions from heat to snow and this shoe is also completely waterproof. I bought two pairs 14 months ago and I rotate them religiously six days a week and they barely show any wear. Nevertheless, they should wear out eventually so I just ordered two pairs for the future, although I honestly cannot say when I will start wearing them! All I really look for in work boots/shoes is durability and these definitely fit the bill."

"My goal for the new year is to start the "Couch to 5K" program and I needed a good, sturdy shoe. I wanted something lightweight with support for a flatter foot, especially since I roll my right foot inward when I walk/run. I also wanted a shoe that had a lower backing because of my short tendent/ankle.
This shoe does it all! I walked/jogged 3 miles last night and my feet do not hurt. They're light, airy and comfortable. I was sad to almost take them off because I felt great wearing them.
My only problem with them was the color. The shoe also comes in Pink, but had a different fit than this one (Green). But it's a work out shoe and not something I want wear to impress someone.
In short - Buy these shoes! You won't regret it!!!"

"I love the Air Rift and have been looking for a pair that is like my two year old pair. Many of the new styles Nike makes of the Rift are canvas and don't stretch or fit like older styles. The dust/black/hot pink style is great. It seemed that there were a few flaws in the production of the shoe, but this is Nike's fault, not Zappos. Zappos had these delivered to me the day after I ordered them. Amazing!"
