The Air Jordan 15 (XV) Original (OG) - Flint Grey / White were released on April 1, 2000, retailed for $150. They feature an upper constructed from white leather, as well as grey woven, materials on the upper. Although this particular colorway is nice, the Air Jordan 15 (XV) is regarded as the ugliest Air Jordan ever. Tinker Hatfield and the rest of the crew at Jordan Brand have nothing to brag about when it comes to these. The midsole area fits very loose, which may allow for an ankle injury on a sharp turn or cut. Besides that, they are said to be modeled after the speedy X-15 Fighter Plane, but they look more like Prada ripoffs, with the vertical stripe running along the heel counter. Other specifications include a hidden lace system, seamless dynamic fit sleeve and Zoom Air insoles. They also feature an injected TPR external heel counter for additional support. The outsole is constructed from two pieces with extended wraps, as well as rubber herringbone pods for increased traction.

The Melo 5's are a versatile shoe that looks great on the streets and holds up up well in the heat of a game. They offer great ankle support, good tread, and are lighter than they look. "I haven't worn a shoe this comfortable since the Vomero 2. I supinate slightly and have very high arches and narrow heels (but normal forefoot width). I have a terrible time finding shoes that do not aggravate my plantar faciitis or my knees and these do neither. They fit nice and snug through the arch and they are freakishly lightweight. I just hope Nike doesn't go and change them next year!"

"These shoes are the best. I just now received my 5th pair. After three (3) foot surgeries and living in FL flip-flop mecca, these shoes are heaven sent. I wear them everyday and am stopped each and every time I wear them. People want to know where to buy them. I tell them Zappos of course. Zappos service is excellent. "after reading reviews on this shoe I thought i'd give them a try. I just got back from a 7 mile run and I felt as if I was wearing heavy clonkers.They are not true to size. Iwear a 61/2 and I felt as if they were a size too big. The shoe ks way too heavy and my heal slides."
