The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Original (OG) + Q M - Whisper White / Cherrywood - Light Graphite were released on June 2, 2001, and retailed for $160. They feature a white upper constructed from leather, as well as a burgundy color at the back half of the shoe, as well as the outsole. They also feature an air bubble which spans pretty much the entire length of the shoe. The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) is a combination of different elements from previous Air Jordans. For example, you can see the patent leather located on the toe from the Air Jordan 11 (XI), the ribbed leather gaiter similar to the uppers of the Air Jordan 14 (XIV). Also, the 3/4 midcut from the Air Jordan 3 (III), and the mesh uppers from the Air Jordan 5 (V). The shoe also features a "shroud" or lace covering,which hides the laces and really adds some character to the shoe. In this case, the Jordan shroud is grey, which goes well with the shoes colorway.

"For working out, jogging/boxing/bootcamp/etc, I SWEAR by ASICS!!! You shouldn't use your gym sneaks outside of the gym, so I needed an alternative. For casual use I wanted something a little more stylish but still good support, so I went to Merrell. As I'm running to work and daycare and kids events, soon starting little league and trips to Six Flags & Sesame place, these will be great. They are stiff compared to my workout sneakers, have durable materials to weather my comings and goings, and still look nice. They just wouldn't be comfortable for a workout, but are good for all the other stuff."

"I've worn these boots on a number of long hikes. The boot itself is a good boot. The Gore Tex is a great feature. I actually stuck my foot in a river and it was absolutely dry. They fit well and are very comfortable.
The only think I don't like is the sole of the shoe. The sole is really thick and rigid. When hiking, it is easy to turn your ankles many times on uneven terrain such as small rocks and roots on the trail. They are also very heavy.
I would recommend these boots only to those that don't do serious hiking. They'd be great for the weekend warrior or casual occasions."
