The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) Original (OG) - White / Metallic Navy (3/4 High Men) were released on March 24, 2001, and retailed for $160. They feature a white leather upper with an extremely noticeable blue patent leather toe. The Jordan shroud features a white leather design as well as a navy mesh on the back. The shorud is basically a lace covering, which hides the laces, and actually seems to give the shoe a nicer, more casual look, which means you can wear them for different occasions. The Air Jordan 16 (XVI) combines aspects from previous Air Jordans. For example, you can see the patent leather located on the toe from the Air Jordan 11 (XI), the ribbed leather gaiter similar to the uppers of the Air Jordan 14 (XIV). Also, the 3/4 midcut from the Air Jordan 3 (III) (hence the name 3/4 High), and the mesh uppers from the Air Jordan 5 (V). The shoe also features a clear strip vertically down the heel counter, as well as a clear outsole. The sole seems to be a problem among critics, as they feel there is not enough rubber that, which would explain the lack of traction within the shoe.

"Ordered product [...]. I walk 5k 2 to 3 time a week besides wearing them at work where I walk approximately 4 to 5 miles each day. They are really comfortable and feels great on my feet. The only thing I can say negative about them is when you first wear them you have to get use to them but it is well worth it. I am going to buy another paid one for work and one for workout. I absolutely love these shoes wouldn't recommend any other shoe."

"Being a back office nurse in a Doctors office I am sometimes on my feet for 8 hours at a time. I used to come home with sore feet everyday until I found the New Balance 811. Because of existing bunions I also had trouble finding a shoe with the correct width. This shoe is so comfortable that I also usually wear it continually even at home because my feet feel better when I wear these shoes then when I don't wear them! And this even includes my slippers! "These shoes FEEL amazing. The most comfortable shoes I've ever had. HOWEVER ... if your feet sweat alot, do not buy these. The waterproof fabric is a double edged sword. NO breathability. They are perfectly made shoes as far as construction and foot support. So unless you like wading in water all day, look for the non waterproof variety."

"I have been wearing Nikes for almost 20 years and I've chosen the Pegasus brand many times. I don't think I have a particularly wide foot, but I like roominess in the toe box and Pegasus come in wide. It's also relatively affordable among the Nike brand. These fit pretty true to size unlike some of the other Nike brands that I've had to return."
