The Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) Original (OG) - Black / Royal Blue were released on February 8, 2003, and retailed for $175. They feature a black suede leather upper, along with a royal blue sole. The shoe was designed by Tate Kuerbis, and is modeled after the sleek lines of the Lamborghini Murcielago,carbon fiber-based monocoque of F1 race cars, Race car driving shoes (rubber heel wrap) and Fine Italian dress shoes (bold stitching on the soles). Other features include a hidden quick lace system, carbon comfort plate, air vents, steel capped laces, full length Zoom Air insoles, as well as a second unit at the heel. They are great for basketball as they are highly comfortable and provide great traction. They also came with a leather suede brush for cleaning, and came in a custom, drawer- type box, which slid open and close.

"Great shoe but a word of caution on size - Saucony makes the only athletic shoes that make my feet feel super comfortable. Please heed the many reviewers who caution that this particular shoe may be a half-size too small. I placed the size 8 of the Grid Cohesion NX sole to sole against my other Saucony size 8 and the Grid Cohesion was definitely a half size shorter. Zappos is sending me the 8.5 even before receiving my returned shoes. Zappos is the best!"

"This is my all-time favorite shoe. I do an aerobic walk/jog every morning in this shoe. After a year's use, I buy another pair of this same shoe (although I went two years with my previous pair). Exetremely comfortable, fits my foot very well, wears very well. Great support, ankle control, pronation control. Just an excellent shoe."

"I LOVE these shoes for dog agility. This is my 5th pair. I am usually outdoors all winter in the Southwest. Rain seems like an issue at every agility trial and these shoes keep my feet dry and warm. They are super comfortable and supportive.
On the other hand, they do not have the best traction and they wear out fast. The laces always break and holes develop where the toe box creases.
As a trail runner, I would not recommend these shoes. They are heavy and lack enough cushion for distance running."

"These boots were great for hiking the Appalachian Trail. They had excellent traction on wet services (roots, rocks, wood bridges, submerged rocks). They offered great comfort and very very little break-in time. The water proofing worked great, especially in the rain. The only problem I had with them was when they were completely submerged (i.e. creek/river crossing). It took awhile for them to dry out on the inside. When they were damp from the rain, they dried out very quickly. Another thing I would do differently would be using insoles - but only because of the additional pack weight - if you're carrying a light pack, no insoles are necessary. They also are very durable! Would no doubt use these again for short and long hikes!"

"Trust The Reviews On Comfort!! I spent a day looking for the right pair of Nike s and I read all the reviews. This pair of shoes had everyone mentioning how comfortable they are... OMG BELIEVE IT!! I opened the box and wasn t crazy about the silver color and my first thought was to send them back. Then I put one on. I didn t have to take a step to know I love these shoes. Walking in them makes you notice how much you don t notice your feet anymore. They are extremely comfortable without any problem anywhere. I want my family to all have a pair as comfortable as these. "Switched from ASICS Cumulus line (after 4 or 5 pair), looking for a change. Reasonably comfortable, but less forefoot cushioning than the Cumulus. Have not tried on a long run yet, so don't know if that will be critical. Arch support is good. Overall, a decent neutral shoe, but not sure I'd buy again."

"These live up to infamous Nike technology. This is a fairly chic sneaker in it's category as a walking shoe or even race walking. It is clean and no frills and can be a great gym shoe, too. The heel is a little stiff but will break in after 3 to 4 wears."
