Great very durable shoes, July 13, 2010
Arne
"My 9-year-old son wanted these so badly but I held off because they were so expensive and he's so hard on his shoes. So as soon as they went on sale, I pounced. He loves them. They look even bettter in person. And they're Nike, so you know they are quality shoes. They fit very well, true to size. I am very glad I got them, but I would not have paid full price."

On my Third Pair, November 15, 2010
Edwina
"Just finished two weeks hiking the JMT in these shoes; 200+ miles on High Sierra granite and only one blister. They fit great, aggressive lugs insured stability, and light weight allowed for agility and high mile days. First pair lasted one year plus a 170 mile cross country trek through the Grand Canyon. Second pair are still in good shape after six months plus the JMT. I just picked up my third pair; wish they made these when I hiked the PCT. Wear points for me appear on fabric near sole at outside toe edge, and lugs after many hundreds of miles. My only beef is the lack of gaiter attachment points, but pick up some Dirty Girl Gaiters and you're good to go. I'd buy the Crossover GTX's with the sweet integrated gaiters, but Gore-Tex in running shoes for me is akin to sticking my foot in a plastic bag full of foot sweat, no matter the season. You're going to get wet feet anyway in the winter, so best stick with breath-ability."

Another great shoe by Merrell, November 29, 2010
Toni
"I've been buying Merrell shoes for years and consistently like their products. This shoe is a little different from their typical, more rugged outdoor shoes--it's more of a running shoe, which is what I wanted. The only thing I'd note is that I had to return the shoe for a half-size smaller than I usually wear. I ordered an 8, and it was clearly way too big. I kept it and then also ordered a 7.5, just so I could compare them side by side, because I never take a 7.5 and couldn't convince myself I'd actually need that size. It turned out, though, that the 7.5 was perfect and fit like what I'd imagined the 8 shoud've. In any case, the shoe is great--I'd just note that, at least in my case, this shoe ran a half size too big."

Comfortable shoe!, November 29, 2010

"I think Merrell manufactures great shoes and this one is no exception. Aside from the comfort and quality, the style is unlike any other I've seen."

I love Saucony, December 9, 2010
Isaac
"I love Saucony - These are the most comfortable tennis shoes I have ever bought. I have high arches, supinate, and wear a brace on my left foot which makes it difficult to find comfortable shoes. These fit out of the box (and I bought a shoe stretcher for the left foot), which makes it fit perfectly. I put them on and wear them all day. They look great and give me the support I need without looking like I'm wearing workmen's boots. Thank you Zappos for your patience in all my returns until I found these shoes. You are great people!!!!"

great walking/gym shoe, December 15, 2010
Archibald
I am an ex long-distance runner. I still run but not marathons as before. I do walk daily, six miles, six days a week. This shoe is excellent. It has enough support and cushion for me. Also since I have owned the shoe before, I find that is lasts for weeks and even survives after getting wet (as we have here in the Pacific Northwest). Other brands often fall apart after a season.

Awesome Sports Shoe, December 15, 2010
Millie
I've always favored the Saucony brand for my walking workouts and this shoe didn't fail me. It's lightweight and has an excellent sole for walking/running. I am a large woman and wear a size wide and the 10.5 Wide I ordered is a perfect fit.I liked them so much I ordered a 2nd pair after my first 2 miles of walking in the first pair! I highly recommend them.

Most comfortable shoes for me!, December 20, 2010
Daniell
"I work as a medical care provider and on my feet at least 8 hours per day. These are the most comfortable shoes I have used in 35 years of practice. I tried numerous styles and brands and three years ago got my first pair of Brooks Addiction Walkers and haven't wanted any other shoe since. These do run small. I normally wear a 12D and had to go to a 13D to get a comfortable fit. If you spend a lot of time on your feet on hard surfaces you cannot get a more comfortable shoe than this."

My Feet Hurt After these ..., January 24, 2011
Forest
"My Feet Hurt After these shoes - I bought these shoes in order to use the Nike + system with my Ipod. I've been a loyal Reebok walking shoe customer for many years but I thought I'd give these a try. I first tried them on my treadmill and I got blisters. I figured, new shoes, it happens. When I walk outside, I walk 11 miles each on Saturdays and Sundays. I've never had an issue with my Reeboks. After two days of walking in these shoes (with my orthotics), the balls of my feet hurt so bad I could hardly walk. There is definitely not enough cushion in the forefoot. I went online and ordered one of those pouches that you put the sensor in and you tie to your laces and I'll be using it with my Reeboks. On the plus side, they look really great. I'll probably still wear them as fashion tennis shoes."

Hated It, February 14, 2011
Roy
"Running is a part of my job, I have to run between 3 and 5 miles every other day, I have been doing this for 15 years. When it was time to buy another pair of shoes I decided on the Nike Air Pegasus. I bought this shoe because it was the number one rated running shoe by runner's world in 2009. When I first tried my new shoes out they seemed to be great. The first week I ran 2-3 miles a day for five days. On the second week I did not run at all, because I noticed pain in my knees, hips, and lower back which are typically caused from running. On the third week I tried running in the shoe again and had the same results with an additional pain which was located in the arch of my foot. This is strange to me since I wear arch supports and have never had this problem with any other running shoe I have owned. This shoe is great for holding your arch support in place and next to your foot but I don't think it has enough cushioning for road running or tread machines. I am very disappointed in this shoe and currently looking for another shoe that is better. I might recommend this shoe to someone who doesn't have foot problems, and has a smaller build."

I had foot surgery, this ..., February 21, 2011
Percy
"I had foot surgery, this is my shoes I ordered. They are the most comfortable as yet, even make your foot look smaller. True to size and extra wiggle room. Love them, the speedy delivery from Zappos is remarkable. Keep up the good work!"

I have been successful ..., April 23, 2011

"I have been successful with the Nike Pegusus in the past so have stayed with that shoe. I am pleased with Zappos and the speed in which the contents arrive and the free shipping. Yup, this is the place to shop."

Ran in ASICS for years ..., May 18, 2011
Maxwell
"Ran in ASICS for years and still love them, but got sick of cold wet feet on the trail. These completely do the trick. Feel secure, unincumbered and most of all dry. I have tricky feet, too. I'd get another if my size were in stock."

Really cute shoe! I had ..., May 20, 2011
Ora
"Really cute shoe! I had problems with the fit, though. I ordered a 9.5 which seemed to be big, so I ordered a 9 the next day. I decided the 9 was too small and kept the 9.5. I don't wear them as often as I would like since my feet slide in them. I just don't think the overall fit is good for my foot. They feel wide at the toes."

Easiest, most comfortable ..., May 31, 2011
Andy
"Easiest, most comfortable shoes to wear! I absolutely love these, except for the split toes. That's not really bothersome, but I don't see the point of it! Otherwise, these are great shoes for bopping around or airport travel, as they are light, comfortable, and come on and off easily. Your feet will get sweaty if you wear them without socks, but that's true of so many shoes. I've worn them constantly for a year and they've held up quite well."
