The Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) Original (OG) - White / Metallic Silver - Sport Royal were released on April 5, 2003, and retailed for $175. They feature an all white leather upper with a blue sole and inner lining, as well as chrome accents. The most noticeable feature is the wrap which overs the midfoot of the shoe,hiding the quick lace system. Tate Kuerbis was brought in to design them, and he had been with Jordan Brand since 1999 and Nike since 1995. Other specifications of the shoe include a carbon comfort plate, air vents, steel capped laces, full length Zoom Air insoles, as well as a second unit at the heel. The Air Jordan 18 (XVIII) is known to be very comfortable and has a sticky outsole which provides great traction on the hardwood. The futuristic and design is modeled after the sleek lines of the Lamborghini Murcielago, a carbon fiber-based monocoque of F1 race cars, Race car driving shoes (rubber heel wrap) and Fine Italian dress shoes (bold stitching on the soles). The shoe is virtually seamless, and that helps to draw more attention to it.

I absolutely love these shoes & have been wearing them for a few years. Initially, I purchased them after recovering from back surgery since they were very comfortable & stable. Then, I just kept wearing them - year after year - because they became my favorite shoes! I particularly like to wear them in the winter. I wear them instead of boots - since they keep my feet warm & dry in the winter and they have the most incredible traction on the bottom. I can walk on the ice in these shoes - better than wearing a boot!

"I ordered these shoes on a Saturday and they were delivered on Monday... can t beat it and it s free. When someone tells me I m crazy to buy shoes online, I tell them they re crazy to drive all the way to the mall and put up with all the annoying people there. Zappos makes it easy. Anyway... the shoes... like them a lot. They are super comfortable. Plenty of width in the toes which I like and nice cushioning. They re a tiny bit large, but not so much as to be a problem... I think they run true to size, but I ordered a 1/2 size large. I ve only gone for a couple walks in them so far, but they feel great. I really like the way they look, too."

"It's just two hours since my UPS guy delivered a pair of Nike Air Pegasus+26's; I've since put in six try-them-out miles on a hilly sidewalk course containing a number of ice and snow spots. My reaction is: "finally, I've found the winter running shoes I've been looking for over the last few winters!" As a masters running pushing 70 (five foot nine; 140lbs), I try to put in three runs (8 to 11 miles each) a week in addition to my 25 hours per week solo law practice. I require a cushioned, lightweight, non-stabilizing shoe. My usual shoes are Nike Air Skylons. The +26's seem somewhat similar, but with better traction in snow and ice than the Skylons (although nothing is perfect except crampons). I've seen some comments that the +26's are good for travel. While not appropriate for urban travel (try Ecco or Mephisto), the +26's look to be a good choice for weekends in the country, apres ski or more adventuresome travel. I'm already planning to take a pair on our next trip to rural Germany and France."

"Sad it didn't fit - This is a great shoe, but since my right foot is a bit longer then my left and these shoes taper at the toe like most ladies athletic shoes, my toe bumped on it on the outside. Wouldn't be comfortable for walking my 3 miles a day. I wear a 12 N most of the time, but since I wear thick socks with this type of shoe I ordered the medium. It would have been okay otherwise."
