"I am outdoors often and do a lot of yard work and gardening. The shoe gives me stability and balance. It is very comfortable. I have flat feet. I try to keep the shoes presentable to run out for shopping, etc.. Also I try to keep from tracking dirt into the house. I can clean the leather part (upper) okay, but getting the soles clean is my biggest problem. Debris, bits of gavel, mud, etc. get caught in the narrow grooves of the sole and even a stiff brush doesn't work in cleaning the grooves out. I have to resort to an old dinner knife and a water rinse to do the job and that becomes tedious. If the shape of the grooves compromise the function of the shoe, can you design a brush that cleans the grooves easily? Also can you recommend a more water-proof product to apply to the leather"

"bought these today for new job (outdoor deliveries) and now i see the 2 comments here: one saying slippery on wet surfaces, other saying uses: wet pavement. are they slippery or not? only on a wet inside floor or outside too? i need to know before i slip, i will be moving fast carrying loads on wet pavements, stairs, steep driveways, etc. should I return before wearing? tell me now! so folks please be more specific when you make a review, to help others. thanks"

"I've purchased the Pegasus for the last four years, and the +26 is a great immprovement on a sound product. It is lightweight, and perfect for us runners with high arches and boney feet. I am also a supinator, and I find its support is exceptional. I took advice from a friend who had purchased the latest model, and got the 1/2 size up, only to go back and get my true size. I felt the 1/2 size larger was too loose, and I noticed the heel/ankle support rubbing too much. I don't have that problem at all with my true size. The Pegasus is truly the best running shoe. I have worn Sauconys, Asics, Mizunos, Brooks and other Nikes, and I always go back to the Pegasus. I currently run 2-3 miles daily during the week, a 3.5 one day and a longer (4-8) miler on the weekend, and I can usually stretch mine for a year. "Great SHOES! Definitely a stepped up from the Pegasus 25, more cushion and TRUE TO SIZE! Great for short runs, I do 7-10miles easily but I wouldn't use them for my long distance. Flexible and light for training."

"Supportive and comfortable shoe for running and walking. Lots of cushioning in the heel. Good arch support. Fun color combination and and patent leather trim (not obnoxious). I won't say that they fit my feet perfectly (arch is set a little far back for me), but they were the best of the 20 or so pairs I tried. "This is my 4th pair of the Trail Pegasus. I replace them about every six months. I wear them for hiking on Blue Ridge Parkway trails. All have been perfect until this pair. The new version has made blisters on my heels, sides of my feet and my toes. They feel like they bend inward on my feet. Going to try a new brand."

Rifts ensure I will have happy feet and a healthy back in 40 yrs. Stylish, funky and very, very comfortable. The canvas fabric is NOT as comfortable -- doesn't stretch. The stretch fabrics are by far the best RIFT material. Leather is great too but not for Animal lovers."
