The Air Jordan 20 (XX) Original (OG) - Stealth (Black / Stealth - Varsity Red) were released on April 9, 2005, and retailed for $175. They feature an all black color scheme with grey outsole and red inner lining, as well as plenty of patent leather across the upper. Designed by Tinker Hatfield, the concept behind these are an expensive trumpet (musical instrument), racing boots, and motorcycle tires. They may seem weird looking or even ugly at first, but tend to grow on you, as the feature seem to become much more interesting. The design on the midfoot strap is modeled after the trumpets. Hatfield had visited with master trumpet maker David Monette. Monette's ?presentation trumpets? are beautiful and expensive musical instruments that had elaborate cut-outs and engravings. Nike's laser expert, Mark Smith, was brought in to design the midfoot strap. The final design is a complex tapestry of symbols representing MJ's experiences and stories. Each symbol is a cryptic puzzle that only die-hard Jordan fans can deduce. The XX is truly unique, in that it has a revolutionary cushioning technology called Independent Podular Suspension (IPS) system, as well as a free - floating ankle strap. Other technical specifications include leather, patent leather or nubuck uppers with laser-etched highlights, a phylon midsole supporting twenty I.P.S.(Independent Podular Suspension) pods on the outsole, and an internal shank plate in the midfoot area.

Like my new Addiction walker in black so well I have since purchased a pair in brown too. One regret is that the brown shoes are not smooth finish. All my Brooks shoes (have 3 pair now) are very comfortable; the oldest pair (Beast) has 6 months use and controls pronation better than any thing I have used in years. Have passed all my SAS shoes to Goodwill, so there is no "looking back.""

"Finally a true wide width athletic shoe - I love these shoes! My only complaint - and it's minor - is that I added insole padding as there wasn't much. Also, someone with a high arch may have issues as it's comfortable for my flat feet."

"I have been wearing Nikes for almost 20 years and I've chosen the Pegasus brand many times. I don't think I have a particularly wide foot, but I like roominess in the toe box and Pegasus come in wide. It's also relatively affordable among the Nike brand. These fit pretty true to size unlike some of the other Nike brands that I've had to return."
