The Air Jordan 20 (XX) Original (OG) - West (University Blue / White - Black)were released on July 1, 2005, and retailed for $175. Theyare dubbed the Wests as they were part of a regional package which released across the states that day, and this particular colorway was only released on the West coast. They feature a blue nubuck upper with white accents, which go really well together. The blue portion of the upper features a complex tapestry of symbols representing MJ?s experiences and stories. Each symbol is a cryptic puzzle that only die-hard Jordan fans can deduce. This design is only seen on the regional colorways, as the other colorways of the Air Jordan 20 (XX) feature the engraved etchings on the midfoot strap only, which by the way, were designed by Nike?s laser expert, Mark Smith. The shoe consists of features such as a phylon midsole supporting twenty I.P.S.(Independent Podular Suspension) ?pods? on the outsole, and an internal shank plate in the midfoot area.

"I use this running shoe almost daily for cardio (mostly running on treadmills) at the gym. I have a high arch and my usual first signs of fatigue are in my feet. "Really comfortable, roomy toebox, but 8 months later and the dratted things still squeak when I walk! Argh. I\'ve tried fussing with the insoles, even putting a thin piece of tissue between the insole and the insert were the Nike+ transmitter goes, but nothing helps or lasts long. Annoying for what would otherwise be a great shoe."

"I needed a good walking shoe due to a sprain on the top of my foot. I love the way these look, but the arch support is mediocre at best and the shoes feel heavy if I wear them all day. Absent an injury, I might not have noticed the arch issue but the shoes are definitely heavier than I prefer."

"This is a great all around daily running shoe for a wide foot and for me a bonus is that the outside stitching doesn't rub the side of my foot like some other brands do. It's a light shoe and that's also a bonus since some other shoes (while constructed wonderfully) are heavy on the foot and awkward. This shoe is sturdy but not bulky."
