"I absolutely love these shoes. I prefer minimal footwear and often train in five fingers, but for races or gnarly trails, these shoes are great. Hiked and ran hundreds of Colorado miles last summer with little to no problems. Shoes dried quickly after stream crossings and had good traction over most terrain (except slickrock). The scree guard does it's job well and is great for tucking in the laces; however, it makes fine adjustments difficult if not impossible. Fortunately, I didn't find that to be necessary! These shoes fit like a glove, so much that I had to go a half size larger (this is typical of Sportivas for me). The material and lugs both wore rather quickly, but to be honest, I tend to abuse footwear. The wear was acceptable enough that I will be buying another pair this summer. I was also pleased to see the Leather version available now, I will use that for hiking/fastpacking and save the Crosslites for races/training. Also, seems to be a lower-volume shoe, would recommend trying it on."

"This is the most comfortable shoe I have "ever" owned. I have had about 8 pair now and always fits true to size. Long lasting and great support. The leather wears well and allows circulation into the shoe! I have best luck with support with the tie-up but the velcro strap style is convenient."
