The Air Jordan 21 (XX1 or XXI) - Black Flint Grey - White were released on April 8, 2006, and retailed for $175. They feature an all black leather upper with grey accents. The Air Jordan 21 (XXI) was designed by DWayne Edwards and is modeled after the Bentley Continental GT coupe. There is some resemblance to the car, presumably the cars matrix front grill and the front of the shoe. Forefoot breathability features are combined with a newly engineered durable textile for support and durability in key performance areas. The extended heel counter construction provides extended ankle support. The newly foam-backed quilted collar complements the seamless booty construction to provide maximum comfort. Breathable mesh is brought to the tongue to dissipate heat, while the adjustable tongue cover flips up to expose the breathable technology, or flips down for a more sophisticated look. They also feature a fully-double lasted phylon midsole which provide a low-profile stance. An evolution of the I.P.S (Independent Podular Suspension)? can be seen on these from the Air Jordan 20 (XX), and now include interchangeable cushioning technology with a customizable heel zoom pillar or heel encapsulated pillar. The carbon fiber shank plate offers midfoot and arch support, which adds to the comfort these provide, which is what they were truly built for. The I.P.S. technology is integrated with the outsole through raised herringbone pods for traction in strategic performance areas. This new innovative outsole pattern offers multi-directional traction.

Keeps me moving!, November 11, 2010
Sheridan
"I have 3 pair, walking/exercising, work, and shopping and have been wearing the shoes for 6 months. I have insoles that fit fine. I suffer from bad plantar fasitis. These shoes are the best I have found to deal with the pain from standing/walking. I have a wide foot and there is plenty of room, nice to have a shoe that fits my tater diggers. I have caught my big toenail on the seam when making sharp fast turns during exercise, that smarts so I wear a different shoe for that type of activity. The sole gum does come away from the leather after a three months and leaks. If NB could fix the leaking problem, I would have all praise to say."

Fabulous shoes, December 1, 2010
Emily
"I have a really bad knee (multiple surgeries) which requires me to wear good, supportive shoes. We were on vacation and I was practically crippled by the lousy walking shoes I had. I couldn't walk more than a few hundred feet without pain. I went into an athletic shoe store and the clerk recommended these. I put them on and INSTANT RELIEF. I couldn't believe how comfortable they were and I was able to walk again (well at least 1/2 mile at a time). That was 2 years ago and the shoes are still in good shape and doing their job. I love them. Getting ready to order another pair."

So far I\'ve use these, December 30, 2010
Patty
"So far I\'ve use these for weight lifting, jumping rope, and other indoor workouts. They are comfortable and I haven\'t had any problems with them. I started with a pair of Nike Free Run 7.0\'s a couple months ago and love them. These are a bit heavier and more supportive. I\'m not crazy about the style at all, but they get the job done."

Great Fit; Great Price!, February 14, 2011
Cary
"My goal for the new year is to start the "Couch to 5K" program and I needed a good, sturdy shoe. I wanted something lightweight with support for a flatter foot, especially since I roll my right foot inward when I walk/run. I also wanted a shoe that had a lower backing because of my short tendent/ankle.
This shoe does it all! I walked/jogged 3 miles last night and my feet do not hurt. They're light, airy and comfortable. I was sad to almost take them off because I felt great wearing them.
My only problem with them was the color. The shoe also comes in Pink, but had a different fit than this one (Green). But it's a work out shoe and not something I want wear to impress someone.
In short - Buy these shoes! You won't regret it!!!"

Bert
"I love these shoes, they are true to size and very comfortable, however, didn t know the toe part splits from the inside to separate your big toe from the others. But it feels ok, just different."
