The Air Jordan 22 (XX2 or XXII) - Omega(White / Varsity Red - Black)were released on June 2, 2007 and retailed for $175. They feature a picture of Michael Jordan with his arms extended in the air after a win. This shoe features a half white/ half red upper, white a clear outsole. The Air Jordan 22 (XXII) was inspired by the F-22 Raptor Strike Fighter. When you look at the F-22 Raptor you see the sharp aerodynamic cuts that can cut through the air like ice. Some of these characteristics of the F-22 can be seen on the Air Jordan 22 (XXII). They grey contrast stitching is a nice touch, and feature a zig zag design, which goes back to the fighter jet, which moves the same way through the air, allowing it to remain unseen on enemy radars. Other features include a variable speed lacing system coupled with titanium lace loops as well as a durable titanium lace lock which allows a comfortable and sturdy fit. They also consist of a improved, color coded I.P.S. system which allows the wearer to choose his cushioning for each pod with either a responsive, double stacked Zoom Air pod, or a shock absorbing encapsulated air. Not only are these a very nice colorway, but the concept of the illustration on the side panel has never been seen on any pair of Air Jordans.

"Awesome shoe - I'm wearing them right now. I needed a comfortable shoe for light hiking and one that wouldn't show the dirt. This is the perfect match. I ordered my size and they were too small across the top and the sides so I sent it back and got the next 1/2 up, which is great. Perfect customer service. Had my shoes the day after I ordered them and then the replacement shoe was also received the next day after I ordered them and very nice and helpful customer service on the phone. "Great shoe - The rave reviews on this shoe convinced me to try them, and after the fact I totally agree this shoe is "the one". Great style, comfort and support. All the things you look for. I specifically speed walk/run on the treadmill 3 mi daily. I no longer have hurting feet or knee pain with this choice as I did with a specific NB shoe. This shoe is so light weight!. "Love these shoes! I have a ton of feet problems (plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, etc) and these Nikes are great. My feet don't hurt when I wear them. I wear 'em all day and they make my feet feel great! Plenty of toe room, which I like about the Nikes! I only wear Nike shoes. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone with feet issues! "Switched from ASICS Cumulus line (after 4 or 5 pair), looking for a change. Reasonably comfortable, but less forefoot cushioning than the Cumulus. Have not tried on a long run yet, so don't know if that will be critical. Arch support is good. Overall, a decent neutral shoe, but not sure I'd buy again."
