The Air Jordan 22 (XX2 or XXII) PE - Denver Nuggets (White / Metallic Silver - University Blue - Taxi) were released on October 6, 2007, and retailed for $150. They feature a white, blue, and yellow color scheme, along with a side panel which feature the Denver logo across it, along with the citys skyline. Some of the most noticeable features include the shiny midsole and hardened heel counter. The midsole features a new and improved, color coded version of the IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) system, previously seen on other models.They allow the athlete to choose his cushioning for each pod with either a responsive, double stacked Zoom Air pod, or a shock absorbing encapsulated air. In addition to the custom fit cushioning the IPS provides, they also have a Phylon midsole to provide extra cushioning without adding extra weight. The heel counter keeps the heel and ankle sturdy, while doing everything possible to prevent any sort of sprain.

"Received shoes as a gift for Christmas (even though I ordered them myself) every husband needs alittle help. I have been watching these shoes since last August. I am a nurse and they are wonderful. I am on my feet somedays 20 hrs at a time, I work two jobs and need good shoes. I have worn newbalance for the last 4 yrs now, switched from nurses shoes, and recommend these to all nurses and walkers, and also good for diabetics. Remember the higher the number on the newbalance the better the shoe and these certainly are. I don't know about the wear because I have just started wearing them but love the fit and comfort. "At first I wanted to send these shoes back. They slipped on my heal and there is nothing worse for me than a shoe that slips off my foot. But, after lacing the shoe up to the top hole the slipping stopped and it is wonderful. I do wish the lacing were longer but nothing a new pair of those won't fix. Another perk was getting the shoes not even 24 hours after placing the order. Having a larger foot (11.5), it is hard for me to find shoes that fit well, with Zappos reviews and wonderful service I don't have to worry about the hassles of searching every store in the area for a shoe that might fit. "I needed a good walking shoe due to a sprain on the top of my foot. I love the way these look, but the arch support is mediocre at best and the shoes feel heavy if I wear them all day. Absent an injury, I might not have noticed the arch issue but the shoes are definitely heavier than I prefer."

"Not enough cushion - Walking is my exercise. I read all the reviews and thought for sure these shoes would be perfect. They hurt my feet and had no cushion. I want to feel like I am "walking on air" when a walking shoe is new--this is not the case with Nike Air Miler Walk+. Thanks, Zappos for your great return policy. I will stick with buying my UGGS from you, but not walking shoes, which I need to try on first before buying."
