The Air Jordan 23 (XX3 or XXIII) - All-Stars (White / Black - Varsity Red) were released on February 16, 2008, and retailed for $180. They were a limited release, and wered dubbed the All Stars as they were released during NBA Alls Star Weekend. Many believe that the Air Jordan 23 (XX3 or XXIII) will be the last of the numbered Jordans, but that is still not certain. They feature a white / black / red colorway, with MJ written in script across the white portion of the upper. Cosmetically, the shoe is as unique as any other Jordan model relative to the rest of the field. Starting at the toe, the toe cap has Michael Jordan's signature embossed. The side of the shoe features a stitched pattern that gives the shoes strength in addition to cosmetic effect. The tongue of the left and right are different for a first time with a Jumpman on the right shoe and "23" on the left. Lastly what starts at the front of the shoe and extends the full length is a metallic, glossy panel that covers the midsole body of the sneaker. Performance wise, is it at the top of its game, consisting of the previously seen IPS (Independent Podular Suspension) system, as well as a carbon fiber plate which extends along the bottom the of sole which is said to be modeled after Michael Jordans thumb print.

     I just keep coming back ..., July 28, 2010
    Alec
"I just keep coming back to this shoe! My runs average about 25 to 30 miles per week and include all types of terrain. I have narrow heels and this heel cup is nice and snug. Blisters are never a concern. The Jordan offers the cushioning, stability and roomy toe box I need. Another bonus is it\'s durability. It holds up better than any other running shoe I\'ve tried. I know I put more than 600 miles on my last pair before they were retired. They are expensive when you have to replace them every season, but I enjoy running on healthy feet and am injury free! For the record, I wear a size 8 but choose to run size 9 for the extra toe room."
     Hard-core sock-eaters, December 15, 2010
    Rafeal
"Hard-core sock-eaters, but awesome comfort and support - I would have rated these shoes 5 stars, only they are sock-eaters. Granted, they mostly eat socks that are old. As a good non-wasteful Earth citizen, I use my socks until they disintegrate, and if your socks are the least bit baggy, these shoes will suck them down into nothing. This phenomenon is probably due to a bit of heel movement in these models. Those who invest in quality, new socks should not have a problem. On the plus side, I have pain in the balls of my feet because I used to walk for a living. These shoes almost eliminate that pain, and I can run and walk almost normally. My New Balances were terrible by comparison. The shoe support and cushioning are excellent. I have the green ones and they look fantastic."
     Slightly smaller size ..., January 21, 2011
    Bailey
"Slightly smaller size than marked, also Med. width is fine for my size B foot.\r\nWas looking for a shoe for hard court Pickle-Ball.\r\nHave been wearing New Balance for the last few years, but am generally fed up with the constant changes in model numbers and sole patterns. Also, when you replace the poor stock insole pads with something decent, NB\'s start to weigh in at about 15 oz. Air Gato weighs in at 8 oz, which my old legs appreciate."
My son is 11 years old .., February 14, 2011
    Dudley
"My son is 11 years old and loves these shoes. He beats them to death and they are still in great condition. Once a week I wipe them down with a baby wipe and they are as good as new."
     Tried these on a whim ..., June 28, 2011
    Claude
"Tried these on a whim because Zappos touts them as being "perfect for the serious fitness walker". They offer little arch & overall foot support. Kind of cool looking, but I need a sturdy, supportive athletic shoe, not a fashion statement. Overall however, Nike makes an exceptional athletic shoe & it has been my brand of choice for many years. These are going back."
     Terrific walking shoe! I ..., June 28, 2011
    Wade
"Terrific walking shoe! I have been through pair, after pair, after pair of athletic shoes. I have bunions on both feet, and while my feet are not wide, most shoes don't have enough give to accommodate the pokey bunions; wide shoes are just too big. These are just right the mesh fabric gives my feet room, while still keeping them secure. Nice! Also, I tend to pronate on my left, but stability shoes are annoyingly stiff. I do just fine with these, and don't feel like I need extra stabilization. They're nice and bendy too, so they move nicely with my foot's natural motion. Great arch support as well. All told, I am in love with these shoes FINALLY! I have found a shoe that works for me."
