"I\'m not sure why these shoes received poor reviews, I\'m here to set the story straight.\r\n\r\nThese are excellent tennis shoes. I wear a 10.5 in nike running shoes, but had to wear an 11 in these and I probably could have gone up another half size. These shoes do require a break in period of about 2 weeks; more/less depending on your time on the court. These shoes are stiff out of the box, but don\'t worry, they will fit like a dream once broken in. Arch support is adequate, but it could be better. However, I have a high arch, so there are hardly any shoes that provide enough arch support for me. These shoes provide great durability for everyone but the most severe toe draggers. I would recommend these shoes to anyone and will buy another pair when the time comes."

"I never thought I would find a shoe I preferred over New Balance, but here it is. I initially bought the Keen Targhee because I loved the purple color of the Hortensia line. I had never tried them prior to seeing them on Zappos, so after securing a women's pair in Hortensia, I was hooked. I had bought the size 11 (the largest it comes in) and even though it fit ok, with my orthotics and socks, I really felt I could use a bit more room. So I went to the men s shoe and ordered a 10, and it fit just right. They are very supportive, look great and I get compliments on them all of the time. I now have added the men s Smokey and men s black. I work in a plant environment and this shoe provides ample cushioning on the cement floors. Be sure and order at least a 1/2 size larger as this shoe runs short. A great shoe with lots of personality!"
