"I bought these boots for a trekking trip to the Annapurna area in Nepal. My current boots where too small for some reason. I tried on a few boots but these clearly fit my foot the best. I would describe them as having a larger toe box and a narrower heel. I purchased a foot bed as well. I bought them for the fit (a personal matter I know) and because they are very light. Before leaving for Nepal I broke them in by going for a 2 mile walk around my neighborhood and wearing them over to a friend's house a couple of times... that's it! I then went on a week long trek which covered ten thousand stone steps both dry and wet – up and down, stream crossings, many miles of climbing and descending. I have had an ACL repair with subsequent re-tear and an Achilles tendon rupture and repair and having not done much serious outdoor traveling in quite some time I was somewhat concerned about my joints, ligaments, and tendons. These boots inspired confidence in me the way an old favorite pair of boots I had many years ago did. No joint pain at all, all day comfort, serious ankle support as well as confidence inspiring traction on every surface I encountered during the trek. I usually don't write reviews but these boots are compelling! My advice is to not buy boots online but to read reviews about different boots, pick out a few that have good reviews for reasons you identify with then go try them on. Try these for sure."

"Don't hesitate - buy these shoes. The Free series from Nike are awesome - like putting on a pair of socks. I am buying these for my 15 year old son for Christmas. He has the identical year old pair that he refuses to give up. I was happy to find them on Zappos. As for the shoes they really are great for court sports and moderate running. They are super lightweight and can fit both narrow and wide feet. He says they are like being barefoot. They look good with basketball shorts that get worn to school every day."

"My goal for the new year is to start the "Couch to 5K" program and I needed a good, sturdy shoe. I wanted something lightweight with support for a flatter foot, especially since I roll my right foot inward when I walk/run. I also wanted a shoe that had a lower backing because of my short tendent/ankle.This shoe does it all! I walked/jogged 3 miles last night and my feet do not hurt. They're light, airy and comfortable. I was sad to almost take them off because I felt great wearing them.My only problem with them was the color. The shoe also comes in Pink, but had a different fit than this one (Green).
