The Air Jordan 5 (V) Retro LS - Deep Burgundy / Light Graphite - Silver were released in December 2006, and retailed for $145. They were a Lifestyle release, making them much more difficult to come by, and were highly sought after by Jordan fanatics, as they still are today. They feature a burgundy upper with grey 3M reflective tongue, as well as grey contrast stitching.They also feature grey shark teeth speckled with burgundy. The Air Jordan 5 (V) is rumored to have been inspired by the World War II Mustang fighter plane, with the shark teeth being the most obvious feature.

"When I got this shoe, I knew it ran a little large so I got it a half size smaller than my usual size. The fit is okay, but what was inexcusable is the lack of a heel lockdown. The heel just slips around, which is terrible when you're cutting around when balling. The material is top notch. It looks great, but you're also paying for it. For the price, you kind of expect it to fit great, look great, and feel great. The Air Max unit isn't as responsive as the Zoom Air unit. All in all, it looks great, but lacks the performance."

"I've worn Merrell boots for years and been very happy with them, but not so happy with the sneaker types offered. I decided to try again with the Siren Ventilator for a recent trip to Ecuador. They needed to do everything for me, including walking on rough lava rock, beach sand, and wet jungle paths, jumping on and off boats, and traipsing for miles through airports and city streets. They performed perfectly wherever I wore them and my usually troublesome, bone-spurred feet were content with or without my custom orthotics. That's close to a miracle!"

"I would recommend this shoes, very comfortable but not a true fit. You may need a whole size larger than you normally wear. I'm a nurse and I'm on my feet 14 hours a day, these shoes in the right size are comfortable all day."

"Love these shoes! I have a ton of feet problems (plantar fasciitis, heel spurs, etc) and these Nikes are great. My feet don't hurt when I wear them. I wear 'em all day and they make my feet feel great! Plenty of toe room, which I like about the Nikes! I only wear Nike shoes. I'd recommend these shoes to anyone with feet issues! Very comfortable and cushy."
