"I did know from reading other reviews that I should order these a half size bigger than my real shoe size, and that was the exact thing to do; I wear an 8.5 usually, and a size 9 in these fits me perfectly. I am a nurse and wearing these shoes daily; I can feel that my legs are getting a work out. I don't SEE a difference yet, but I haven't had them that long. This style is attractive, and I have gotten compliments on these shoes. I love this color also. I am waiting now for my second pair of shape-ups; I have ordered a darker pair to go with my darker scrubs for work. I'm not wearing these to work out as I don't work out, but am hoping to get a little improvement in my legs just by wearing these as I work; based on how my legs FEEL, this may happen. But even if not, these are very comfortable and attractive shoes in this style and color. I have recommended these to the people who have noticed them on my feet."

"I have tried a lot of walking shoes on and this one is great! I have worn it and another shoe exclusively for the last 3 months and it does not show any wear. I have nerve problems in my feet and this shoe has everything I need to walk w/o pain. It felt great from the first moment I put them on. I did go up to a size 9 even though I would usually wear an 8.5. Roomy toe area and good arch support. The heel is cupped and has a lot of support, too. Good traction. A rolling type stride helps me not to bend in the ball of my foot. I am not thrilled with the looks but when you can walk w/o pain I can't be bothered about looks."

"Bought these after getting a pair of "Beasts" at Nordstrom, so I knew my size OK. Price [...] from On-Line are great. Like my new Addiction walker in black so well I have since purchased a pair in brown too. One regret is that the brown shoes are not smooth finish. All my Brooks shoes (have 3 pair now) are very comfortable; the oldest pair (Beast) has 6 months use and controls pronation better than any thing I have used in years. "Some people apparently are addicted to buying shoes--lots of them! I have never been one of them, but after wearing the Brooks Addiction Walker shoes, I can say that I do not think I will ever buy another brand of shoes if I can find the style of shoe that I am looking for in a Brooks. "I've purchased the Pegasus for the last four years, and the +26 is a great immprovement on a sound product. It is lightweight, and perfect for us runners with high arches and boney feet. I am also a supinator, and I find its support is exceptional. I took advice from a friend who had purchased the latest model, and got the 1/2 size up, only to go back and get my true size. I felt the 1/2 size larger was too loose, and I noticed the heel/ankle support rubbing too much. I don't have that problem at all with my true size. The Pegasus is truly the best running shoe. I have worn Sauconys, Asics, Mizunos, Brooks and other Nikes, and I always go back to the Pegasus. I currently run 2-3 miles daily during the week, a 3.5 one day and a longer (4-8) miler on the weekend, and I can usually stretch mine for a year. Even training hard-core for a full marathon, so averaging 30-mile weeks, they've lasted nearly a year! Perfect shoe."

"Lower cost alternative to new balance mw845 in size 15 4E - I normally wear new balance mw 845 to work every day. I bought the nike's to wear on my day off and to just give me a change. I have had them for about a month so far and they feel good. I don't know if they would hold up as well as the NB shoes for everyday use as I weigh 310lbs and I'm very hard on shoes. However the price is much less and I thought I would give them a try. They appear to have good support much like the rollbar support in the NB. I only wear the New Balance shoes that have the roll bar support; however, these are somewhat pricy. I m not complaining because they make a great shoe but it s nice to find a lower price shoe that is comfortable that I can wear for leisure. As for Zappos service OUTSTANDING. Ordered 830 in evening, had them next morning and the shipping was free! Thanks Zappos."

"These are a classic......you can wear these with just about anything especially jeans.....even for men.....i love men that put a button up and some jeans and some forces.....you cant go wrong wearing these shoes. I have had so many forces its ridiculous......but i wont stop buying them...they are comfortable.....they last.....you can run them thru the dirt....and they will still be just as comfortable as the first time you wore them.....thats the best thing.....DURABILITY"

"I finally went to a specialty sports store for professional fitting for a good running shoe. The result was the Nike Women's Air Pegasus 26. Finally no more black toenails! And soooo comfy. I ordered second pair from Altrec (at lesser price!) and am wearing them as I write this. I put all others in GoodWill box! I love these shoes."
