"I have owned many a pair of Skechers in my day. I recently bought a pair of New Balance tennis shoes on clearance at a retail chain to replace my 5-year old, worn-out Skechers. Yeah, that was an uncomfortable, blistery mistake! So I bought this pair and it felt like coming home again.This shoe has satisfactory arch support, but those with a super-high arch might want to consider something else. The thickness of the heel support keeps me from getting sore heels when I'm on my feet for a long time.I also recommend the slip-on/slide Skechers. I've had a lot of back trouble over the past few years and couldn't bend down to tie my own shoes for a while. I went through 3 or 4 pairs of those. They stay on your feet a lot better than you might expect and they look stylish!

"I have arthritis and other bone problems and nearly flat feet. The Brooks Addiction's best feature for me: The shoes do not have seams where my "big toe" metatarsal bone protrudes. So at 10.5 4E shoe size, the fit is a big deal for me. I feel that the shoes wear out too soon. I go through two pairs in less than a year, and though I spend a lot of time on my feet, I am retired and do not have to depend on the shoes as work shoes. I believe that if I were working, I'd go through the shoes even faster."

"This running show is great for people who have a wide toe area and also tend to supinate (or rotate toward the outside). This is my second pair of Pegasus, a style Nike brought back after a hiatus because of its ease to break in, cushion and comfort. I put about 30-40 miles a week on mine, and they are great for running on hard surfaces, protecting my feet and joints from too much impact. I highly recommend them. I\'ve bought them .5-1 size larger to leave enough room for distance running and that really helps. Enjoy."
