"This is my second pair of Fireblades and I do enjoy them quite a bit. I am an overpronator and usually wear orthotics but do not with these shoes. They have limited support but because of the nature of trail running, the quick and light movement somewhat negates the need for tons of support. Cushion is minimal but just enough for the trails. Although they are still good for rocky trails they tend to be best for mixed trails and what I would call southern trails (sand, gravel, pine straw and some minor rock face). They are great through water and seem to dry out quickly or at least drain so you are not running in squishy shoes. I would not advise these for running on paved road for extended periods. They are designed mainly for racing on trails and because of their low support in the arch and lower cushion than regular shoes you may find you get sore shins, and feet. At the same time they can handle portions of road no problem. Overall a great shoe for most soft and mixed trail that works with you not against you all the way to the finish line."

"This is the best running shoe I've had and I have been running for 16 years. They are the first shoe that haven't given me shin splints or ankle injuries. They have great cushion in the heal and the toe and the toe has a great wide base. I would recommend this shoe to anyone ranging from neutral to supinating."

"These shoes are great! Very lightweight and lots of cushioning which really keeps the running comfortable. My heels tend to hurt from street running and these seem to prevent that. The shoe also has the space for the Nike sensor that works with your iPod to track distance, etc. I order a half size larger than usually and they are perfect. Just had to add thicker socks to keep my foot from sliding. Very comfortable running shoe that runs true to size or a touch on the small size. Happy running!"
