"1st. tripfirst time using microspikes. only a few minor scratches from rocks. i cant say how long they will last but i do have a good feeling that it will prove to be a great piece of equipment. took a trip to the hot springs in idaho. they have around 15 to 40 people who walk this switchback trail a day, somewhat steep in spots. the snow was packed down and medium icy condition. friends i was with had a hell of a time just trying to stand, with the microspikes i had no problem helping them up and down the mountain. round trip was 3/4 miles.[$] was well worth getting everyone down safely. right tool for the job several people have rolled down this mountain and died. warned my friends of the dangerous condition before attempting"

"This is the 4th pair of Air Max Moto running shoes that I've owned and used primarily for walking - a lot of fast walking! I have a relatively narrow heel and have never had trouble with slipage and still have plenty of space in the toe box. Good cushion and fit. Every time I buy/try another shoe I regret my purchase so I stick to this particular one in 1/2 size larger than my non-athletic shoes."

"I've been told I overpronate by several different shoe stores and they always put me in a shoe with a lot of stability. Then someone told me to try this shoe because it has a little bit of stability and LOT of cushioning. I haven't found a better shoe than this yet. I love it and haven't had near the joint problems I did running with other shoes. "These shoes are designed for the Ethiopian runner in mind. They are used to running bare foot and the split toe helps them feel like they have the control of that big toe.These are extremely comfortable! Nike just needs to have more of the split toe socks available."

"Nike air miler - I like this shoe, but it feels a little loose in the toe box. It's not as comfortable as others say it is. Could use more cushioning all around. Also, the IPOD sensor easily slips out of the sole."

It took me a minute to get use to the white that I think makes my feet look a little long, but they are very comfortable considering I power walk at least 5 miles 6 days a week. So I wear them a lot. "Comfortable, cool summer sneak - I hate Nike because they use slave labor when they could so easily afford to pay a living wage. However, I have a thin instep and can't find any other sneakers that fit as well. These are instantly comfortable out of the box. The light weight and ventilation make them perfect for summer. If the cushioning is anything like their usual, it will last a long time."
