The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro LS - Pea Pods (Midnight Navy / Orange Blaze - Pea Pod) was released on September 29, 2007, and retailed for $150.They were a LS or Lifestyle release, meaning they were only released in men sizes. The have been dubbed different nicknames, including the Pea Pods, after the official colorway, and the Chicago Bears, because they feature the same colors as the NFL team. The feature a navy blue durabuck upper with orange outlining, and green contrast stitching, which are both very nice touches. the orange midsole sits on a navy blue outsole which look good together. This is definitely one of the nicer and more interesting colorways of the Air Jordan 8 (VIII). Besides the looks, these also consist of features such as anti-inversion cross straps, a poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache.

"I don't know if the shoes do everything they say, but they certainly work your legs more than more conventional shoes. After an initial period of adjustment you can wear them anywhere all the time, or if you're like me you can wear them every other day to notice the difference they cause.
Anyway, take the advertising with some salt; you won't get a six-pack just by wearing magical shoes, but you will develop your calves and ankles, and your lower lumbar muscles will get stronger from wearing them."

"Uneven compression and arch support between left shoe and right shoe. Right shoe arch support is less than left shoe. Compression in right shoe is less than left shoe. Uneven arch support in right shoe has resulted in pain in hip.Second pair of shoes ordered were recalled in transit without notification to me. Vendor has yet to provide notification to me or new delivery date. I will cancel the order. This has been the single most unsatisfactory online purchase experience that I have ever had. "I had a total knee replacement & have been walking almost every day since the beginning of the year to strengthen my knee muscles. Prior to getting my pair of ShapeUps, my feet and lower back would be sore and achey after my walk. "This is the best running shoe I've ever had. I finally figured out that I'm a neutral pronator and this shoe is perfect for me. Before this pair, I was wearing shoes for over pronators and I kept getting horrible blisters on my toes. For the longest time I thought something was wrong with the shape of my foot and I just suffered through the pain. With these shoes I haven't had one blister and my toes feel great. There's a lot of cushion in the shoe and they look great on my feet. I would definitely recommend this pair to anyone who wants a comfortable running shoe."
