The Air Jordan 8 (VIII) Retro - White / Orange Blaze - Silver - Stealth was released on October 20, 2007, and retailed for $140.They feature a white and grey upper with small perforations throughout, which act as a ventilation system, allowing the foot to breathe.The colorway is smooth, and seems to blend well together. They were a general release, which made women and children happy to be able to fit them. One of the nicest features of these and the Air Jordan 8 (VIII) in general is the inner sleeve, which features a vibrant, multi- colored pattern, and is designed to really make the shoe stick to your foot.The shoe also consists of anti-inversion cross straps, a poly carbonate torsion plate, air sole, and an inner sock similar to the Nike Air Huarache. The leather versions feature perforations, but the versions constructed of durabuck really do not, which may be the cause of why Michael suffered from athletes foot infections during the 92-93 seasson, the year the shoe was originally released.

"I wear these shoes on neighborhood walkways (paved, dirt, and gravel); on the local town streets; and when walking from my home through the woods (not a public trail) to a local conference center, where I walk the trails. When I finish with a strenuous walk, I do not feel the need to remove these shoes. I love the support and comfort that all of my Merrell shoes provide me and will continue to purchase this brand because I can wear Merrells all day long and my feet do not hurt at the end of the day. I specifically feel that the "Q-form" in the women's shoes have made a positive impact for the support, comfort, and the health of my feet and back."

"My boyfriend had the men's version in blue and his shoes survived the wear and tear. So I bought a pair of my own. The "sand" (or beige) color for women's matches almost anything. They are comfortable and easy to slip on and off especially in between climbs when rock climbing. These are excellent for letting your tootsies breathe during summer time. I haven't walked in water with them though. I'd buy it again and recommend it for friends, but I can't say they are perfect since I haven't tried other pairs."

"I primarily use these shoes for a conditioning class and a weight lifting class. And they work well in these situations. I occasionally wear these when I'm not working out and they hold up well for moderate walking. I would not recommend these if you are planning on doing any significant amount of walking or running."

"Not a bad shoe at all....true to it's measurements, and provides excellent grip in any lie. My biggest complaint so far is loosening of one of the spikes on the right shoe, but I was able to easily reattach the spike, and it's been smooth sailing ever since!!!!"

"This is my 4th pair of the Trail Pegasus. I replace them about every six months. I wear them for hiking on Blue Ridge Parkway trails. All have been perfect until this pair. The new version has made blisters on my heels, sides of my feet and my toes. They feel like they bend inward on my feet. Going to try a new brand."

"I really like these shoes-these are my 2nd pair! I have narrow feet and while they are still a little wide they are a pretty good fit. Very cushioned and very comfortable. I usually wear an 8 but buy an 8.5 for running shoes."
