The Air Jordan 9 (IX) Original (OG) - White / Black - True Red was released in November of 1993, retailing for $125.It features a leather upper surrounded by a durabuck, material, which made it very sturdy.The stitching on the upper seem to form a pattern which got smaller as u moved your eyes from the back of the shoe to the front. This could have been away to sort of focus you sight either from back to front or front to back. The shoe also features a dynamic - fit inner bootie one pull lacing system, large volume air- sole unite in the heel, an encapsulated air- sole unit in the forefoot, and a polyurethane midsole. These are true classics, but never saw the hardwood, as the Air Jordan 9 (IX) was the only shoe Jordan never wore on the court, due to his sudden retirement in 1994.

"I own 4 pairs of Keen shoes. I needed a mid weather/waterproof boot to kick around in. I saw this boot and bought it. It fit great like all the other keens that I owned. Wore them right out of the box to a Steeler game with it raining and the temperature around 32 degrees. My feet felt great, warm and the boot didn't need to be broken in. "Hard-core sock-eaters, but awesome comfort and support - I would have rated these shoes 5 stars, only they are sock-eaters. Granted, they mostly eat socks that are old. As a good non-wasteful Earth citizen, I use my socks until they disintegrate, and if your socks are the least bit baggy, these shoes will suck them down into nothing. This phenomenon is probably due to a bit of heel movement in these models. Those who invest in quality, new socks should not have a problem. On the plus side, I have pain in the balls of my feet because I used to walk for a living. These shoes almost eliminate that pain, and I can run and walk almost normally. My New Balances were terrible by comparison. The shoe support and cushioning are excellent. I have the green ones and they look fantastic."

"I have tired other brands and nothing is as comfortable to me as the New Balance 811. I am a great-grandmother and I wear these shoes every day except when I have to dress for a special occassion.They support my feet, they are very comfortable and the sole keps me from sliding as they seem to grip the ground and payment. The price is very reasonable and they last a long time .

"These shoes are great! I have wide feet and high arches. This is the only pair that doesn't hurt my feet or give me blisters. I am not usually a Nike wearer, because most are too narrow. These are nice and wide. I bought an 8, rather than a 7 1/2 for running. I'm ready to buy another pair for my 1st 1/2 marathon."
