"I bought these shoes because I work in a restaurant and needed a non-slip shoe. Since I work so much, why not try the Shape-Ups to get some toning done while I work? I've only used them 4 times so far. The first day, my thighs felt a little sore. Not sure how much of a work out I am getting, but my legs are constantly contracted and I feel my calves tightening up. We'll see how things go in a few weeks...but so far, they are super comfy and seem to be giving me a little extra something to my stroll."

"I have been wanting a pair of Masi's for years. I was not happy with the price. The Sketchers are more reasonable, although the Masi sale prices are similar to Sketchers. The Masi shoe has a bigger rounded bottom. I found it a little unsteady. The Sketchers are very comfortable, stable, and I can feel body parts I forgot I had. They do seem to work parts that have been unused for some time. I suggest you start out slowly in wearing them until you get used to them, but I do recommend them. I am normally a size 7.5 medium and I purchased a size 8 (not wide) and found them the best fit. I wear them all the time now and can t imagine using other sneakers. I don t miss my New Balance cross-trainers. I m still leery of the lacing area. Most previous shoes with this type of set up break. I would prefer the laces to go through the leather and use metal O-rings. Time will tell."

"First ordered size 9, which is my usual size to order for hiking shoes for extra room feel. Felt too big and too wide. Never felt like I could get them snug around my foot. Ordered my usual everyday size of 8.5. Fit was perfect for me. Great arch support, good mid foot, arch tightening with pull strings. Enough toe room. I have worn these all day without any foot, ankle or leg discomfort. Very lightweight. Because of the water resistance aspect of shoes (GoreTex) which is nice when around wet conditions I did find that even with wicking socks my feet did not breath as well as with other breathable hiking shoes I have worn in past. Not a major issue for me, just a different aspect to be aware of. Wish I had had these when in Yosemite in May actually instead of my North Face shoes that these replaced."

"Uneven compression and arch support between left shoe and right shoe. Right shoe arch support is less than left shoe. Compression in right shoe is less than left shoe. Uneven arch support in right shoe has resulted in pain in hip.Second pair of shoes ordered were recalled in transit without notification to me. Vendor has yet to provide notification to me or new delivery date. I will cancel the order. This has been the single most unsatisfactory online purchase experience that I have ever had. I have purchased many items online including different types of footwear and have not had an unsatisfactory experience until this order."

"I needed a different shoe to do Zumba outside for the Summer and these are super comfortable and offer support. I did go 1\/2 size up because my toes were hitting the end of the shoe. I normally wear 7 1\/2 even in other Nike\'s but for these the 8\'s are better. I get lots of compliments on them as well."
