"I have wide feet (EE-EEE width), plantar fasciitis and the beginning of a bunion. I can walk to and from work in these (25 minutes each way), feel like I have nothing on my feet, and experience no discomfort whatsoever. Great arch support. Like my new Addiction walker in black so well I have since purchased a pair in brown too. One regret is that the brown shoes are not smooth finish. "The La Sportiva Fireblade is a solid shoe. The shoe gets great traction, has a good fit (maybe a little more narrow than I am used to, but definitely comfy). In comparison to other shoes, you may feel the ground more. After running in Brooks Cascadias for a while, this shoe feels much lighter and faster, but maybe you wont get that running on a cloud feeling. The toe box along with the rest of the shoe protects your feet very well from kicking rocks, etc.I wasnt terribly happy with a La Sportiva shoe that I bought about 18 months ago, but this shoe is definitely an improvement. Great for fast trail races, or ultra-marathons."

"I ve gone through two pairs of these shoes and am very pleased with them overall. I ve had both knees replaced and will not run again, but I like it so much that I continue to wear it on a daily basis. This shoe is the one running shoe that not only fits my narrow heel, but also has a sole flexible enough to prevent plantar fasciitis. It also wears like iron. There seem to be many more running shoes designed for the overpronater than for those of us who are neutral or who underpronate. I was very happy to find a running shoe that works so well for me. My only complaint is that the mesh upper is not warm enough for outdoor winter wear.
