Awesome shoe with a few flaws, January 10, 2011
Grant
"The Fireblade was my first trail shoe from a smaller company (rather than Asics, Brooks, etc). Mine just endured a full summers abuse on rough/rocky trails, so Im ready to speak for them.Pros: These shoes performed well and held up nicely. The sticky rubber tread kept me upright on slick and steep sections of gravel/snow/mud just as I had hoped. If not for some interior cushioning flaws, these likely still had some miles left in them. They are very lightweight just as advertised and seemed true to size, fitting my neutral foot (mostly) comfortably. Externally they were solid and outperformed any of the previous trail shoes Ive run in.Cons: I think there was a slight sacrifice in protection to keep these shoes light, as I found myself feeling pointy rocks through the bottom and sides more often than I should have. Also, although the interior fabric was soft and cushy, the heelcup rubbed my heel in such a way that a couple holes wore straight through the fabric, prematurely ending the life of these shoes.Bottom Line: While I felt the Fireblade could get the job done, I was more impressed by its sister shoe, the Raceblade. The Raceblade is even lighter, features a sewn in upper to keep crud out of your shoes, fits a little more snugly (good in my case), and is build with a more frictionless interior fabric that has witheld a lot more abuse than the Fireblades interior. And being about the same price, Ill be buying just the Raceblades in the future."

These are good looking ..., February 15, 2011

"These are good looking shoes, since they have very good traction for a running shoe and my foot feels very well supported in them. I especially like the colors (grey and pink). I only wish they had wide sizes to accommodate a prominent bunion. I bought a slightly larger size 10, so they're still comfortable. I also got a second pair of Nike Air Pegasus Trail runners in 10W, for days when the bunion hurts. Both pairs look very similar to me,however the wide shoes have a slightly different sole and design) Unfortunately, the wide shoes come only in white, so they're not as good looking as grey. But they are very comfortable. Finally I have to say that I'm really happy I got them through Zappos. They upgraded my shipping to express free of charge even though I didn't even request it, and they were hassle-free."

"I love, love, love these shoes! I taught a class tonight and wore them without breaking them in and they felt great... no break-in needed. I always order a 1/2 size larger than my normal size, when I order NIKE and it's perfect every time."

THE BEST, February 19, 2011
Preston
"DICKS is stepping their game up by bringing us these classic Jordan releases. The Air Jordan XII is an iconic shoe, 2009 was the year of the XII. Despite all the colorways that dropped, the white/red colorway is great because of the contrast, these turn heads. They are mad comfy and lightweight. Flu Games were cool too, nubucks were aight."

"These are a very light weight, cushiony running shoe. I was running in a Nike Max +10 previously and these seem to be easier on my body. I was starting to have pain in my knees, but not anymore!
FYI: I am an under-pronator with a very high arch. These support my feet without a doubt!"

I really like this shoe, ..., May 30, 2011

"I really like this shoe, I use it for walking on my treadmill. It is very lightweight, however the arch was not supportive enough for my foot but I put an arch support in the shoe and it works great. Highly recommend this shoe!"
