"I've had them for 2 weeks now PROS: great traction, great ankle support, great looks. I get tons of people complimenting me on my shoes. CONS: I already notice small threads coming out from the seams, they give me blisters from rubbing. They are wider then fit."

"Saucony always delivers a good product! I've worn this brand nearly 20 years and can always depend on an 8.5 fitting perfectly. (I have a narrow heel and a high arch.) While other shoe companies tweak their sizes, Saucony hasn't let me down yet. I do a little running, mostly walking, on nature trails and asphalt. I always wear these just to run around in all the time too. They're a little 'white sneaker' bright for me, but with a little wear the dazzling color will dim, and the style looks tidy, not clunky. This is a comfortable shoe and you can't beat the price. I typically buy only on sale and have never had a problem. In fact, since I wear through several pairs in a year, I really couldn't afford to buy their higher-end products without places like Zappos, which offers great service."

"Ive had heavier, bulkier trail runners and wanted something more sleek and low-profile. I wanted shoes for moving quickly (fast hiking and running) on dry trails on day trips. The Fireblades definitely seem to be that - but unfortunately I didnt get to use them other than for extended periods of wearing them (trying them out) inside my house. The fit seemed good for my fairly low-volume, high-arched, just-the-narrow-side of medium width size 44 - 44.5 feet. The upper contoured the right places and curves. Right away, however, I could tell that there was not much in the way of cushioning. I felt this mostly in the forefoot. I think my rigid feet have lost some of their padding over the years of use, especially under the ball of the foot and behind the toes. My determination was that if I was feeling the lack of cushioning during inside use, then spending several hours in them on the trail might be uncomfortable - maybe even painful. I would like to have done some real runs in the Fireblades - maybe I would have been surprised, but I doubt it based on past experience with shoe feel and fit. I wanted to like them and keep them but think I need more underfoot padding and shock absorbing ability than these provide. Another thing is that the laces are quite short - they are barely long enough to make double knots.Conclusion: These are probably good shoes for some people but didnt work for me so I returned them."

"I never thought I\'d wear sneakers again, but these sold me. They are comfortable as all heck and I can walk for miles and my feet don\'t hurt at all. \r\n\r\nThe only thing that bugged me was a squeak in the left one. I thought it would go away but it only got worse. I finally decided to take out the insole and saw the shoe had a little oval plastic thing just sitting there. I have no idea what it\'s supposed to do but I pried it up and out and my shoe no long squeaks! The right shoe doesn\'t have this plastic thing for some reason, so I\'m confused. \r\n\r\nBut mostly I\'m happy because my wonderful, cozy, and cute shoes don\'t squeak anymore and I can keep them forever!\r\n\r\nI took one star off my overall rating because of the mysterious squeaking plastic, but otherwise, I adore these shoes."

"Love these shoes! Wear them to teach pilates\/bar type classes. They are perfect and fit like a glove. They run a bit more narrow than the other styles I tried, which I need. Very flexible allowing great mobility."

"i imagine myself when i see this coming.. at first, i ddnt like it because of the x-patterned cover on the lace but when i see them in person, i fell in love easily.. bought this like 2 months ago and of course, like i kid, i wore them right away.. no complains about this shoe.. comfort is way above the roof.. the grip on the court makes u wanna do more crossovers and stutter steps, and lockdown, fantastic.. i felt more lockdown on this shoe than those of kobe 2 strengths not to mention the great ankle support it has to offer.. must buy.."
