"Received shoes as a gift for Christmas (even though I ordered them myself) every husband needs alittle help. I have been watching these shoes since last August. I am a nurse and they are wonderful. I am on my feet somedays 20 hrs at a time, I work two jobs and need good shoes. I have worn newbalance for the last 4 yrs now, switched from nurses shoes, and recommend these to all nurses and walkers, and also good for diabetics. Remember the higher the number on the newbalance the better the shoe and these certainly are. I don't know about the wear because I have just started wearing them but love the fit and comfort. "I wear these shoes almost everyday. They are so comfortable, easy to slip on and off. This is a really great aspect because I don't wear shoes in my home and if my hands are full I can still easily get into or out of my shoes. But don't think that this then makes them fit sloppily - just the opposite they feel secure on your feet while cradling them in comfort. I can stand all day in these shoes and not have tired feet at the end of the day. I bought my first pair of Jungle Mocs about 15 years ago and I hope Merrel never stops making them.
