"It's just two hours since my UPS guy delivered a pair of Nike Air Pegasus+26's; I've since put in six try-them-out miles on a hilly sidewalk course containing a number of ice and snow spots. I require a cushioned, lightweight, non-stabilizing shoe. My usual shoes are Nike Air Skylons. The +26's seem somewhat similar, but with better traction in snow and ice than the Skylons (although nothing is perfect except crampons). I've seen some comments that the +26's are good for travel. While not appropriate for urban travel (try Ecco or Mephisto), the +26's look to be a good choice for weekends in the country, apres ski or more adventuresome travel. I'm already planning to take a pair on our next trip to rural Germany and France."
